Today while reading a Sherlock Holmes story, the antagonist was described with a pointy beard made me think of Yoshiaki.
The rest of the villain was nothing like him but that is a diffrent story. XD Anyway, I wondered who could be an awsome Sengoku Holmes and thought it needs to be one of the smarter and the first choice made me crack up (in the bus).
I thought how hilarious it would be to have a Sherlock Holmes story with Kanbei as Sherlock and Kotaro as Dr. Watson.
Kanbei would tell everyone his plans and the antagonist would be ahead all the time, until Kanbei breaks all their bones with a giant ball.
And Kotaro wouldn’t speak at all! But that is all right since he just has to listen! Also, can you imagine Kotaro as Doctor?(“Doctor!? Will I be healthy?” “…” “is that a yes or a no?”)
Ujimasa would be Mrs. Hudson.
Okay, bear with me, because this will be confusing and long.
So I have this headcanon about the kyushu family.
It is also no secret, that I kind of ship Kotaro and Tsuruhime, even though I’ll most certainly go down with this ship.
Anyway I had this idea of Kotaro and Tsuruhime really hooking (does not need to be Tsuruhime, any girl would work… but well me being a fangirl and such) up and then having childen, which would be (I believe) quite delightful to Ujimasa.
For Ujimasa is such a nice grandpa and he would care for the “grand-grand-children” (as much as his back will allow it).
Anyway this is pretty basic stuff, what me really cracked me up was the fact, that Kanbei would be very jealous! For we all know, that Kanbei is mentally an eight year old child that wants attention.
Now imagine, that even his best buddy Ujimasa is not giving him that attention anymore. He would be so pissed XDDDDD

Kanbei being at Ujimasas place:
Kanbei: Hey, hey, Ujimasa! You want to help me find the key?
Ujimasa: Ah, Kanbei my friend. I’m sorry I have promised to take care for the children, while the parents are gone.
Baby: Abububub
Ujimasa: I think, the diaper is full. Can you take care of the other child while I change the diaper?
Child: …
Kanbei: …
Child: why are you running around with a giant ball chained to you?
Kanbei: I know grandpa Ujimasa longer than you!!!!!

Headcanon No. 5
The Kyushu People are in reality a familiy.
Yoshihiro is the mother - always there to scold the kids if they do wrong.
Muneshige is the father - one of those nice and kinda weak-for-the-wishes-of-their-kids/daughter fathers who will do as told.
Kanbei the oldest son - always gets into trouble and feels unloved.
Sorin younger daughter - and quite annoying “Dad! Your voice is irritating me! I want a pony!”
Sorin is a manic fangirl about Xavi, a popular Band. Everywhere in her room you’ll find Poster of Xavi. On a regular base she makes Muneshige buy her all the merchendise. She’s also the president of the official “Xavi Fan Club”.
Mom is having an alcoholic problem, Dad only cares for the little sister and the sister is annoying. This leaves young kanbei to the evil Nanny: Yoshitsugu
Yoshitsugu is also caring for the annoying neighbour kids, Motonari and Mitsunari.
(Motonari is also the best friend of Sorin?)
They mock Kanbei, telling him that he’s only a dog and for that reason gave him a collar. They also make him do a lot of work.
When the bullying gets too much and Kanbei gets the impression that his genius is not appreciated enough he will flee to Grandfather Ujimasa, who lives with Cousin Kotaro in Odawara Castle.
Ujimasa is always happy when Kanbei is visiting him. They get along pretty well and together noone can stop them! Kotaro is not saying much to this, though.
